Young talent sponsorship is very important to us: Be it rally racing or karting, circuit moto racing or motocross, powerboat or jetboat racing, whether as the organiser of the ADAC Formula 4 or as the new partner of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship – ADAC, with its over 19 million members, is the top address for young motor sport talent. Moreover, the ADAC sport foundation “ADAC Stiftung Sport” is active in the fields of young talent sponsorship and safety. Former ADAC Stiftung Sport grantees include Formula 1 racers Sebastian Vettel, Nico Hülkenberg and Pascal Wehrlein as well as DTM drivers Marco Wittmann and Timo Glock.
In addition to promoting young talent, ADAC also offers a wide range of motor sport activities: Organising some 3,300 events in Germany each year, ADAC Motor Sport in Munich and its affiliates in 18 regional and more than 1,800 local clubs are the number one motor sport organisation in Germany.
This year, we have yet another calendar full of top-level, young talent and mass sport highlights, such as the ADAC Rallye Deutschland – the German FIA WRC event – from 18 to 21 August in and around the city of Trier. Another blockbuster – this time on two wheels – is the German MotoGP round, one of the largest motor sport events in Germany, at the Sachsenring between 15 and 17 July.
Further highlights include the seven ADAC GT Masters weekends, whose 14 races will be broadcast live on SPORT1, as well as the ADAC Formula 4 and the new ADAC TCR Germany as a platform for professional and affordable touring car racing – both of which will also be shown live on SPORT1. In rallying, ADAC Motor Sport organises the ADAC Rallye Masters and the ADAC OPEL Rallye Cup and for motorbikes the ADAC MX Masters and the ADAC Northern Europe Cup, for instance. The ADAC Motorboot Masters is ADAC’s successful powerboat racing platform.
